For now ReAnglia cannot offer paid opportunities (our directors are also unpaid), but we hope that this may change in future. Unless stated otherwise, roles are flexible and can be shaped around your own time and capacity.
If you want to contribute but don’t have time for a volunteer role – why not join the ReAnglia WhatsApp community to share ideas.
Don’t see anything that fits? Why not create your own project or role to promote regenerative, relational futures – come and share your vision! (For example, can you offer ideas or skills related to nature connection, biomimicry, permaculture, land stewardship, myth, folklore or ancestral history – or something else?)
Projects committee
Help shape ReAnglia’s daily work and delivery. Help lead specific workstreams or projects, without the legal responsibilities of a director. Time: regular meetings agreed by committee members plus ad hoc project time.
Regenerative regional mapping
Work on mapping the region’s regenerative best practice examples e.g. rewilding, regenerative farming, Nature reserves. Investigate the region’s relationship with Nature.
Rights of Nature project work
Promote Nature governance and rights of Nature locally – helping with river rights motions and Nature on the board.
Workshop and event facilitators
Lead or deliver events to promote regenerative and relational values. This might include walks, seasonal land-based sessions, fire circles, talks or workshops. (This is a project based commitment – for an ongoing role see Projects committee.)
Content, communications & editorial support
Write for our Substack channel and website, helping to edit others’ content; and/or
create and maintain content over social media.
Partnerships & outreach coordinator
Help us to broaden our network around the region and strengthen existing connections
Mentor / Advisor
Offer your expertise (e.g. legal, governance, funding, ecology, education) as occasional advice/sounding board, without a formal commitment or operational role.
Grant writing / funding
Use your skills and experience to help ReAnglia find and access funding.
Learning and education design
Help design learning and education packages to democratise regenerative education.
Online Imaginarium designers
Use your creative or tech skills to co-create a space for people to imagine regenerative local futures through stories, art and design.
Nature storytelling
Gather stories of how people connect with Nature in the region (storytelling circles, audio/video, or written submissions).
Kincentric discussion group
Lead or participate in a discussion group on kincentric futures (see glossary: kincentric). (This group isn’t yet formed – help shape how it runs).
Academic collaboration
Schools or colleges: work with us to create workshops, talks or projects for your students.
Higher education and research: Collaborate with ReAnglia on research projects where ReAnglia’s themes and aims correlate with your research interests.
Work experience / youth groups
For young adults interested in promoting regenerative, relational futures – lead a group, plan an event or conduct your own research.
(Note we cannot work directly with 16-18 year-olds, but could work with you through a school or similar organisation.)
In-house Nature facilitators
Promote Nature connection and Nature-centric governance within your workplace, similar to a mental-health first aider but for Nature. We can provide you with training, support and hopefully a growing network of peers. Time: low, ongoing – occasional promotion and peer catch-ups
Website/tech support
Support with website, Baserow and tech stack design, development and maintenance
Non-executive director
Help steer ReAnglia as a company director. This is a legal governance role with fiduciary duties and limited liability. You’d help set strategic direction and provide oversight, not deliver day-to-day projects. Time: approx 15–20 hours/year.
Bioregional projects lead
ReAnglia’s vision includes coordinating regenerative and relational work across the Anglian river basin – connecting practitioners, projects and communities. We don’t yet have capacity to lead this, but if you have the time and interest, we’d love to explore.
